Consumer Taste Tests
Consumer taste tests are performed on a group of participants large enough to indicate how the consumer population would react to a product. Typically a number larger than 80 consumers would be the case.
When conducting taste tests, typical questions would be connected to overall liking, consumer taste and preference related to the product as a whole, but it could also be questions related to important characteristics of the products.
I also conduct so-called rapid descriptive tests, which includes lists of attributes the consumers can include in their description of the product.
The pool of consumers in this area are connected to a student town, with a significant number of people with higher education, and a large international community, as well as a large pool of young people.
The consumers are typically invited to a location to perform the test.
