Sensory evaluations can help you make informative breeding decisions, adopt better field management practices and harvesting decisions.  A sensory descriptive test can highlight the sensory differences of new breeding lines that result from date and site differences. This will allow you to direct new breeding practices, or development of other product cultivars, and/or modifications in a direction to grow cultivars with an optimal flavor profile  and thus higher consumer liking scores.
